Nanny Placement

When we work with families, we conduct in-depth interviews of all the parties involved to ensure we are connecting the perfect caregiver to each family. The more specific parents are about the strengths, challenges, and interests of their child(ren) and family, the more we can certify that the process is not about “blind faith.”

Our process works differently than those of nanny matching sites. We take the stress of the unknown out of the equation. Our staff works diligently to select 2-3 nannies that fit your family's needs leaving you to only worry about choosing the final candidate! We also aid in the construction and maintenance of contracts between families and caretakers to ensure all parties are keeping to their obligations.

Our process includes:
  • A preliminary phone interview between the Placement Coordinator and the family to learn about the child(ren).
  • A home visit from the Placement Coordinator where he or she can observe the child(ren) in a comfortable environment and learn more about the family culture.
  • Meet 2-3 hand-picked candidates. You’ll be sent bios, resumes, and pictures of 2-3 candidates which you can then meet face-to-face. Each nanny undergoes an extensive screening process which includes: 
    • Application Review
    • Preliminary Phone Interview
    • Face-to-Face Interview
    • Reference and Education Check
    • Background Check, Driving History, Social Media Check, Sex Offender Check ​
    • US Work Authorization Check 
    • CPR and First Aid Certification Check
    • ​Once a family decides on their match, the family negotiates the rate, hours, and other job details with the nanny. Families also receive guidance on how to file appropriate taxes as a household employer.​
  • Once the search begins,  the process typically takes between 2-6 weeks

Placement Pricing

Nannies:
  • Our aim is to make your process as easy as possible.
  • We charge an initial $250 non-refundable Search Fee to begin our process, which will be put toward the Placement Fee.
  • Once the ideal candidate is found, there is a one-time Placement Fee of:
    • $1,500 for nannies working 31+ hours per week
    • $900 for nannies working under 30 hours per week.
    • $450 for summer/vacation nannies of any hours.
  • ​Families set their own hourly rate for their nanny and pay the nanny directly. We recommend paying between $15-25/hour due to the education and experience of our nannies. If a family is not satisfied with their match within the first 30 days, we will replace the nanny free of charge or refund the Placement Fee (minus the $250 non-refundable fee).​
